Continuing the pioneering projects for the supply of equipment and accessories for LPG networks, ANDRIANOS, the exclusive representative of the Italian company Plinoxotar in Greece, undertook the supply of the LPG storage tank to the newly built facilities of the food production company MESOGEIOS SA in the Industrial Area. Nea Michaniona Thessaloniki.
The company MESOGEIOS SA is active in the cultivation - processing and export of seafood invertebrates, mainly represented by holothuroids (holothurium, commonly sea cucumber). The new tank feeds LPG five kettles, with a total maximum consumption of 80kg / h that are used to sterilize the products before they are frozen.
Gas storage tanks with built-in heat exchanger offer the following advantages over conventional ventilated installations:
- Simple Installation: All components and regulators are certified and factory installed in the tank, inside the metal shaft. The only requirement during installation is to connect the low pressure gas distribution line to the tank outlet.
- Easy Installation: There is no need to create a special base for the installation of the tank, nor for the construction of a protective canopy or a connection line of the tank with an external evaporator. This significantly reduces installation costs
- Flexibility: Tank controls automatically control the flow of hot water inside the evaporator to achieve the required gas supply. In addition, gas supply is guaranteed even with a gas mixture rich in Butane. The pressure inside the tank can be easily adjusted by modifying the temperature of the heating water in the heat exchanger.
- Safety: Tank controls are controlled by a special control panel, where special electronic sensors create an inherently secure electrical circuit.
- Reliability: The built-in heat exchanger is placed at the bottom of the tank, in order to completely vent the existing LPG in the tank (in the respective underground tanks with external fans there is a case of reduced gas supply, when the LPG level reaches below 30%)
- Reduced maintenance: The system vents the liquid LPG in the tank creating gas reserves immediately available thus allowing reliable gas supply, even at peak gas requirements. The fact that the gas supply from the tank is already in the gas phase, reduces the need to maintain the tank since the gas is clean and the chances of clogging of the first stage regulators are reduced.
The specific project was undertaken and executed with absolute success by the company NRGAZ based in Thessaloniki. NRGAZ closed this year the first decade of operation, actively active in the provision of specialized high-tech services in energy optimization - energy saving of building & E / M installations. Has excellent and many years of experience in both the design and implementation of gas fuel management applications, regardless of scale.
