The works on the expansion of the central heating of the Kalamata Hospital are being successfully developed, with the addition of four sets of Heat Pumps, for the autonomy of all the Fan Coils of the building, from the central air conditioning system.The project has been undertaken by "ANDRIANOS" after its participation in an electronic public open international tender, and is funded by the OPESD program (Operational Program Environment & Sustainable Development) and specifically by Priority Axis 1 for the Protection of the Atmospheric Environment - Environment Renewable energy sources.
In detail, the project includes the supply and installation of 6 Heat Pumps, 3 Central Air Conditioning Units and 130 Fan Coil Units (FCUs), including the necessary equipment for their connection to the existing air conditioning network of the Hospital. Guided by the quality of technical solutions, the Heat Pumps AQUASNAP 30RQ, the Air Conditioning units 39HQ and the Fan Coil 42N units of Carrier were selected, which are machines of low energy consumption, high quality and reliability.

The project is expected to be completed by ANDRIANOS and delivered to the Technical Service of Kalamata Hospital, within the next week, while the multiple benefits of this project will be immediately visible:
- with a significant reduction in the consumption for heating and cooling of the building and increased quality of heating and cooling in the Hospital.
- reduction of maintenance costs and breakdowns since for at least a decade there will be modern and new machines instead of obsolete ones, which showed breakdowns and many repair costs every year.
- availability of spare parts as guaranteed by the manufacturer.
- functional autonomy of four critical departments of the Hospital, from the central air conditioning system.
