The owners of Kalamata Papadimitriou vinegar factory, as part of an energy upgrade of factory, chose ANDRIANOS for the supply, installation, configuration and remote monitoring of the Domestic Hot Water Production (DHW) system to meet its needs of Hot Water for production processes, using the free Renewable Energy source of the Sun.
The well-known industry Kalamata Papadimitriou has been active in the production, trade and export of quality local products of Kalamata since 1939. The factory of the company is in Thuria, Messinia and has managed to highlight the Greek balsamic vinegar Kalamata Papaditirou, as the No1 Balsamic vinegar in sales in Greece, while it is placed on the shelves of big supermarket chains, but also in the restaurants of the largest hotel chains in the world.
Study by the specialized engineers of ANDRIANOS
The management of Kalamata Papadimitriou factory entrusted the experienced engineers of ANDRIANOS to study the special needs of the factory, the climatic conditions of the area and the production line. After careful study, the best economic and technical, as well as environmentally friendly solution was chosen, for the installation of a solar thermal system, where it is possible to heat the industrial water throughout the year above 70° C - free from the sun by 95%.

The installation includes the following equipment:
- 12 solar collectors ANDRIANOS AND-SOLAR PREMIUM, made in Greece, with a particularly high efficiency of ηcol = 67%, placed on the roof of the factory, which create a solar field with a total collection area of 32.64 sq.m.
- 1 Stratified combi storage tank ANDRIANOS AND-SOLAR FS1 1500lt, made in Germany, with a high quality stainless steel for hot water, to avoid salt deposits.
- Solar station double piping Taconova Switzerland for solar circuits.
- Solar controller Deltasol SL and the special Module DL2 of RESOL Germany, with which the remote recording and visualization of all the critical parameters of the solar system is achieved.
