The advanced automatic adiabatic cooling systems of ANDRIANOS are the optimal solution to effectively reduce the temperature of incoming air in the condensers of the outdoor refrigeration units and in general of the HVAC units, resulting the significant increase in their efficiency.
The problem: frequent faults and shutdowns of compressors of chillers, due to high temperatures, in two large buildings, in Larissa and Athens.
Both companies trusted the experts of ANDRIANOS to find the right solution to this serious problem that occurs in the condensers, when they have to convert high pressure superheated steam into a coolant of the same pressure, since the ambient temperature is too high and the concentration process is difficult.
With the specific study and installation of ADRIANOS adiabatic cooling system, the temperature of the incoming air in the element is dramatically reduced and thus a lower condensation temperature is achieved. In this way the compressors operate without much pressure and the refrigeration units greatly improve their efficiency, thus saving significant energy and at the same time significantly increase their lifetime over a number of years.

The operation of adiabatic systems is set to start automatically, when the temperature received by sensor T, has reached levels that have been set specifically for each case, through the parameters in the Tmp control box and always according to the degree of lag of the on / off of the pumps.The high-pressure spray pumps were dimensioned depending on the needs of each project and the appropriate machinery and equipment were selected for their perfect and guaranteed proper operation.
These new installations of automatic adiabatic cooling systems in six LIEBERT chillers in the big Communication building in Larissa and two 500Kw CARRIER heat pumps in a central hotel in Athens that took place last summer, has resulted in immediate improvement of the operation of the machines and consequently the efficiency of the air conditioning systems, especially on very hot days from early spring to autumn. In addition, we achieved a significant energy savings during these months, compared to previous summer seasons.Result of all these, was measurable savings which will bring the very rapid amortization of their investments, leaving our new customers completely satisfied!
